Gotchi Battlers, assemble! We're excited to announce that Gotchi Battler is nearing the end of its Beta phase. To celebrate, we're holding a series of three 100k GHST tournaments.
Everything up to this point: Campaign, Daily Credit Tournaments, balance updates and system overhauls has been preparing for this moment.

Tournament Overview
Each tournament will follow the same structure as previous Rarity Farming tournaments:
- 100,000 GHST prize pool
- Free entry
- Top 512 teams paid
- Double elimination brackets
- 12 hour rounds
These are full-scale competitive tournaments designed to reward preparation, strategy and consistency over multiple rounds.
Tournament Schedule
Each tournament progresses through three phases:
- Upcoming - secure any rentals
- Registering - create and register your team
- Active - tournament is live
Please note: The three Tournaments overlap across phases, allowing for a faster overall schedule and more frequent competitive play.
Tournament 1
- April 6 - April 12 → Upcoming
- April 13 - April 19 → Registering
- April 20 - May 3 → Active
Tournament 2
- April 20 - April 26 → Upcoming
- April 27 - May 3 → Registering
- May 4 - May 17 → Active
Tournament 3
- May 4 - May 10 → Upcoming
- May 11 - May 17 → Registering
- May 18 - May 31 → Active
How Tournaments Work
When the Tournament is active, each round lasts 12 hours.
During this time, you will:
- review your opponent
- analyse their team composition
- adjust your units, formation, specials and leader
- strategically equip Items
Items can be purchased from the Shop and equipped during the preparation window before each round.
Success in these tournaments isn’t just about raw power - identifying weaknesses and adapting your setup each round can be the difference between advancing and elimination.
Important: Class Lock
You can no longer change the class of your Aavegotchis during a tournament.
- You can change class before registering your team
- Once registered, your team’s classes are locked for the entire tournament
While this is a change from previous tournaments, overall strategic flexibility has increased significantly.
Each class now has:
- 8 different Specials
- 3 different Leader Skills
This means that while class itself is locked, you still have a wide range of strategic options to adapt your team and approach each round.
New Gameplay Mechanics
(Important for Returning Players)
If you haven’t played the latest version of Gotchi Battler yet, a lot has changed. While the core combat system remains familiar, the game now includes:
- A completely new stat system
- A total of 64 new Specials
- 24 new Leader Skills
- New Leader mechanics (Leader Buff + Leader Aura)
These systems significantly impact team building and strategy.
We strongly recommend getting familiar with them before entering the tournaments.
Practice Before You Compete
We host Daily Credit Tournaments every day with:
- free entry
- fast completion (~2 hours)
- 10 minute rounds
- Credit rewards
These are the perfect way to practice PvP; test team compositions; learn the new systems and build up Credits for Items

Renting & Lending Aavegotchis
If you plan to rent or lend Aavegotchis, please read this carefully.
Renting
- Renting must be done during the “Upcoming” period only
- ONLY use the Tournament Lending Page when renting Aavegotchis
- If a Gotchi is not listed on the Tournament Lending Page, it is not available for the tournament
- Once rented successfully during the Upcoming period, the Gotchi will appear in your inventory the following week for team registration
Lending
To ensure your Gotchi appears on the Tournament Lending Page you must set the rental duration to 168 hours. If the duration is not set correctly, your Gotchi will not be available for tournament rentals.
