G-Bucks and the In-Game Shop

Introducing G-Bucks, the in-game currency of Guardians!

G-Bucks are the primary currency of the new In-Game Shop, which sells cosmetic items, stickers, and XP boosts to level up your Gotchi Guardians. G-Bucks are purchasable via GHST or credit card (coming soon).

Whether you’re looking to accelerate your Guardian’s progress by purchasing XP, get the latest stickers, or customize your Guardian with ebic cosmetic items , G-Bucks are here for you.

And if you want to do all three at once…well, keep reading about our next invention!

Each Starter Pack comes with themed rewards, including:

  • A beautiful custom 3D Guardian skin

New Game Mechanics

New Guardian: Meet the Aarcher!

Bows might be common, but only the Aarcher has mastered the art of pinpoint accuracy and deadly power. Whether they’re shooting an apple off the head of a ROFL or unleashing rapid-fire shots, the Aarcher is quite the force to be reckoned with.

Specializing in long-range combat, the Aarcher excels at keeping enemies at a safe distance while delivering devastating attacks.

The Aarcher comes with four new tech trees:

  • Maaster Bow: While the bow is available to all Guardians via the shop, only the Aarcher can unleash its full power. Maaster Bow enhances the bow with significant upgrades, including the ability to land critical strikes and even fire two arrows simultaneously!
  • Poison Maaster Bow: Because one Maaster Bow tech tree isn’t enough, here’s two! With this tech tree The Aarcher dips his arrows in poisonous substances, dealing additional damage over time.
  • Iggly Traap: The Aarcher focuses on death from afar and has perfected the art of working with Igglies. These helpful little guys slow down enemies, keeping them trapped within the Aarcher’s deadly range, ensuring Lickquidators are right where he needs them.
  • Loooong Pew Pew: While the Pew Pew is an item available for all Guardians via the shop, the Aarcher enhances its capabilities, turning it into a tool of unmatched precision and power, delivering devastating long-range attacks.

With target-perfect precision and lethal range, the Aarcher is the ultimate long-distance assassin—Lickquidators beware!

New Items

This patch introduces two new items:

  • Maaster Bow: Perfect for shooting from a distance, dealing significant single-target damage. The Master Bow is a potential starting item for the Archer but can be purchased by any other Guardian.
  • Rusty Cleaver: A passive item that adds cleave damage to your Guardian’s attacks, effective for both melee and ranged.

SUS Nest Rework: Status Effects Are Here

The SUS Nest previously felt a bit underwhelming compared to other towers, so we decided to give our favorite tree more love and purpose.

The SUS Nest now features a rebalanced butterfly distribution, making it significantly more affordable while dealing less direct damage. Instead of latching onto enemies and inflicting continuous damage, SUS Butterflies now deliver an initial hit that applies a slight stacking slow effect. After dealing damage, the butterflies return to their flower, creating a visually engaging and more dynamic attack phase.

In addition, Maagik Crystals have been reworked to add different status effects. Each crystal now enhances 1/3 of the SUS Butterflies. For example, with 9 butterflies, 3 will benefit from each crystal’s special effect.

Bull Market 2.0: Market System Overhaul

While the Bull Market’s impact on Bulls remains the same, we've updated how markets work to provide a bit more clarity.

A new UI element now helps you better understand the market’s current state, whether it’s in Ape, Bull, Crab, or Bear Market. Each market state affects gameplay and strategies, with abilities like passive regeneration and cleave attacks tied to the global investment value.

FOMOsaurus 2.0: Chaos Awaits!

The FOMOsaurus is now more fearsome than ever, adding more fun and chaos to your matches!

At the start of Round 6, the FOMOsaurus awakens at level 1 and begins chasing players all over the map. At the same time, a button appears, allowing you to summon a level 2 FOMOsaurus for everyone else in the game. As each new FOMOsaurus level is introduced, the button updates, letting players summon higher-level versions (at increasing costs) until a maximum level 6 FOMOsaurus is unleashed.

Once the FOMOsaurus is defeated, the cost to summon the next level is halved, offering a strategic incentive. When purchasing a level 2 FOMOsaurus, players also receive 40% of the spent amount back as income.

This feature adds a new layer of unpredictability and cross-player fun as the FOMOsaurus evolves with each level.

Quality of Life Improvements

This patch is also packed with quality-of-life improvement and bug fixes, such as:

  • A new Grid Shader to give visual clarity during matches.
  • New Avatars, Frames, and Titles to showcase your cosmetic items on the outcome screen and in each match.
  • UI Enhancements like highlights to the health bars when setting the mouse pointer over enemies to make it easier to see when zoomed out.
  • VFX adjustments in Mount Oomf for smoother gameplay.
