The Gotchiverse #playdrop is in full swing! Thousands of players, both new and old, are gathered in The Gotchiverse racing to collect FUD, FOMO, ALPHA, and KEK. Some hope to craft the ultra-rare LE Golden Aaltar, while others are simply hodling the precious play-to-earn tokens. Many of you doing the latter are probably wondering what other ways you can utilize the Alchemica you’ve earned.
Well frens, we’ve got some great news. Introducing Limited Edition Golden Tiles, the unique and cost-effective way to get a piece of Gotchiverse history. Whip out one of these Tiles, and everyone will know that you are a grizzled Alpha launch veteran, grinding in the trenches of Citaadel District 23 for that sweet sweet Alchemica.
Aesthetic NFTs for a Utility Rich Metaverse
Up to now, every NFT in the Aavegotchi ecosystem has held some sort of utility. Our ghostly frens, the REALM parcels they will soon call home, and everything in between are utility driven NFTs with multiple use cases. In other words, Aavegotchi and The Gotchiverse are so much more than what most people think of when NFTs come to mind.
Golden Tiles will become the first ever purely Aesthetic NFTs for land parcels. These shiny decorative tiles can be used to accentuate Gotchiverse REALM parcels of all sizes. Each Tile is the size of one Humble parcel (8x8). This means you can either place it on a Humble parcel and have it cover the entire surface, or place multiple on a Reasonable or Spacious sized parcel! However you choose to place your LE Golden Tile, rest assured that it will add some unique flair to your Gotchi’s abode.
NFTs on Top of NFTs
Arguably the most interesting aspect of these aamazing tiles, is that you can place installation NFTs on them! That’s right frens, Aaltars, Harvesters, Reservoirs, and more can be placed on top of the LE Golden Tiles. Can you imagine the LE Golden Aaltar on top of a LE Golden Tile? Your parcel will really stand out in The Gotchiverse with a combo like that.
Unlike Installations, Golden Tiles can be unequipped without the NFT being burned. This means you can move your Tiles to a new location on the same parcel, or even to an entirely different parcel if you’d like.
Release Schedule
- LE Golden Tile #1: Wednesday, April 20th
- LE Golden Tile #2: May 4th
- LE Golden Tile #3: May 18th
In total, there are three different designs for the exclusive LE Golden Tiles. One tile will be released every two weeks. When one gets released, the previous Tile can no longer be crafted. This means that you’ll have just two weeks to collect the Alchemica needed for each tile.
Minting LE Golden Tiles
To Mint the Golden Tiles you’ll need to collect the following amounts of Alchemica:
- 25 FUD
- 25 FOMO
- 75 ALPHA
- 25 KEK
Once you’ve gathered the required amounts, you’ll select your crafting table, click “Recipe Book,” select the LE Golden Tile, and click craft! Once the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, you’ll be the proud owner of a LE Golden Tile NFT. You can see your LE Golden Tile by clicking the “Inventory Button.” Once the full Citaadel goes live after the Alpha release period, you’ll be able to place them on your parcels.
Tradable in The Aavegotchi Baazaar
Like every NFT asset in the Aavegotchi ecosystem, LE Golden Tiles will be tradable on the secondary market in The Aavegotchi Baazaar. Even if you miss out on minting them during the Alpha Launch, you’ll be able to purchase the LE Golden Tiles with GHST on one of the most active NFT marketplaces on Polygon.
