The Gotchiverse alpha launch has raised many support questions, and also some questions about the new play-to-earn ERC-20 tokens, Gotchus Alchemica. This guide will provide answers to some of those frequently asked questions.
Gotchiverse Common Problems
Problem 1: I’m playing with a borrowed Gotchi. I claimed tokens from my Gotchi Pocket, but tokens were not received.
Possibility 1a: Transaction has not yet confirmed onchain.
Solution 1a: Please wait for your transaction to confirm, or resend it with higher gas.
Possibility 1b: Withdraw from Vortex confirmed, but you have not withdrawn from Gotchi Pocket.
Solution 1b: Claim from your Gotchi Pocket (Top right in the UI).
Possibility 1c: Transaction confirmed, but the listing was created before Alchemica tokens were deployed on Polygon.
Solution 1c: This listing was likely created with “placeholder” Alchemica. Please wait until the lending period expires then re-create a new listing with the same parameters. Then you will be able to claim the tokens.
Problem 2: Claimable rewards in my Gotchi Pocket disappeared!
Solution 2: They were claimed by your manager (or scholar, if you are the manager). Please check your onchain wallet!
Problem 3: I withdrew my Alchemica but it’s not in my wallet
Possibility 3a: You are using a borrowed Gotchi.
Solution 3a: Please check your Gotchi Pocket and click “Claim” to move Alchemica to your personal wallet.
Possibility 3b: The Alchemica have arrived, but you have not added the tokens.
Solution 3b: Add the tokens to your Metamask.
Problem 4: My borrowing period is over, but I don’t see the Alchemica in my wallet.
Possibility 4: You did not withdraw the tokens from the game before your lending agreement ended.
Solution 4: You must withdraw Alchemica from in-game before the borrowing period is over. Try and contact your manager to see if they can transfer it to you manually.
Problem 5: I didn’t receive Alchemica that I tried to withdraw hours ago
Possibility 5a: Your transaction was still pending when your borrowing period ended.
Solution 5a: Please contact support with your Gotchi ID, wallet address, and screenshots (if you have them).
Possibility 5b: There is high network latency.

What are Alchemica?
Gotchus Alchemica are ERC20 tokens on the Polygon network. There are four of them: FUD, FOMO, ALPHA, and KEK. Alchemica will be used in the Gotchiverse to craft Installation NFTs, powerful structures on your REALM Parcel that help you farm, socialize, and many other things. You can also use Alchemica to craft Tiles, aesthetic-only decorations for your parcel.

What can I do with Alchemica?
Alchemica will be used in the Gotchiverse to craft Installations, powerful structures on your REALM Parcel that help you farm, socialize, and many other things. You can also use Alchemica to craft Tiles, aesthetic-only decorations for your parcel.
Right now the only NFT to craft is the LE Golden Aaltar, a limited-edition skin of the Alchemical Aaltar. Alchemical Aaltars will be free to mint when the full game launches and will have the exact same utility as LE Golden Aaltar, but Golden Aaltars are definitely shinier!
How much Alchemica drops every hour?
The drop rate of Alchemica varies, but for the entire month of April, we have budgeted 15M FUD, 7.5M FOMO, 3.75M ALPHA, and 1.5M KEK to be distributed during this #playdrop.
How much can I make collecting Alchemica?
That entirely depends on your skill, luck, the drop rate of Alchemica, and the price of Alchemica!
